Kristine knows the power of jewelry. She earned her BA in Communications from NC State University in 2005 and began her Jewelsmith career in 2003. She loves the people she works with, both teammates and clients alike, and the fun work environment she's able to live in every day. She has continued her professional development through the Stuller Bridge Conference in Lafayette, LA (2014), Countersketch 3D design software training (2014), and AGS Conclave (2019). She envisions continuing Jewelsmith's legacy by growing and progressing with the studio's current clientele and team, while expanding and teaching the future generation of jewelry lovers and jewelers.

Moving through the ranks of Jewelsmith is her proudest moment as store President and General Manager. She's also proud of being recognized as a Woman of Achievement for Durham Magazine in 2023 for this accomplishment, and of leading the Jewelsmith team through the pandemic, while also losing her mentor and leader, Linda. She has a passion for bringing people together, and on the side enjoys live music, beach naps, and traveling.

Her favorite piece of jewelry is her pink sapphire kissing ring, a Jewelsmith original design, featuring her favorite color set in platinum, a rare and noble metal, and representing both her personal and professional growth.
