Fair Traded/Ethically Sourced: Not only is it our mission to uphold the highest level of ethical standards here in our shop, but we carefully choose suppliers with ethical standards that match our own. We are also proud members of trade organizations such as the AGS (American Gem Society), AGTA (American Gem Trade Association) and the JVC (Jewelers Vigilance Committee), all of which require the highest standards of ethical practices for membership.
Recycling: We not only encourage our clients to recycle their precious metals into new jewelry, but we have a rigorous scrap and dust collection and refining program for our shop. The precious metals we do purchase are from sources that only sell recycled metal. We also take our trash recycling very seriously.
Energy Efficiency: Several years ago we replaced all of our halogen and fluorescent lighting with LED lighting which has made a tremendous impact on our energy consumption.
Transparency: We are committed to continuing to build trust with our community as we have since 1976. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and we will answer honestly to the best of our knowledge. We want you to be comfortable with your new jewelry in every way!! You can see the goldsmiths working and even tour the shop and meet the folks who are actually creating your wearable art.
